1) 원리 및 기능
글로브박스는 일반 대기 상태에서 분리된 곳에서 특정 물질을 처리하는 밀폐된 용기를 말합니다. 사용자는 손에 장갑을 착용하고 밀폐 용기의 밀봉을 깨트리지 않고 내부에서 작업을 수행합니다. 글로브박스의 전면부에는 항상 작업 수행 상태를 확인하기 위해 투광성 재료로 작업창을 제작합니다. 글로브박스는 두 가지의 기능을 수행합니다. 하나는 작업자가 방사능 물질 또는 감염될 수 있는 질병 시약, 독성 등의 위험 물질을 취급하는 것이 다른 하나는 아르곤 가스 혹은 질소 가스와 같은 고순도의 불활성 가스로 치환하여 물질을 처리하는 기능입니다.
 

2) 기기활용
가스정제장치와 더불어 글로브박스의 목적은 밀폐 공간 내부의 순수한 가스 분위기 를 만들거나 혹은 유지하기 위해서 이용됩니다. 수분과 산소에 민감한 소재는 글로브 또는 추가적으로 특수 설계된 취급 장치의 착용을 이용하여 취급합니다. 본 시스템은 전문가 혹은 장비에 관한 일련의 사항을 교육 혹은 숙지한 자에 의해서만 운영되어야 합니다.

- Removal of moisture and oxygen.
- Purification ability: less than 1ppm of moisture and oxygen, but inert gas purification has to be above 99.999%.

- Regeneration temperature
→ Internal temperature: about 350℃
→ External temperature: Max. 50℃
- Pressure ranges: ±5inH2O, display and operation is able to indicate on the touch screen.
- Oil rotary vane pump with 200L/min for maintenance of inbox’s pressure and evacuation of atmosphere of inside antechamber.
- Cooling water: need to about 5L/min for cooling a blower and circulation gas.
- CDA: need to about 4bar for operating the main pneumatic valves.
- Power : AC220V, Single phase, 50Hz, 4kW
